KEYSTONE Challenger Model 29TRL

My boss just bought a 2008 Keystone Challenger 29TRL. Is there anything he should know about this particular 5th wheel, good OR bad? Anyone on this board have any experience with this model or one similar? Oh, BTW, he will take delivery of his unit this coming Friday! Thanks much in advance!

RE: Landscaping & out door living space efforts

joanne0012 - the basement wall actually goes approx. 12" further up under the vinyl siding so there is no danger of "critters" or water invasion! Plus, I have a very good "bug man"!!!!! (he uses the "good stuff") LOLOL

RE: Landscaping & out door living space efforts

A little over a year ago our company decided to start working 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, giving me a 3 day weekend EVERY weekend. I had to come up with SOMETHING to do with that "extra" day so I decided to make some flower beds for my wife. Here is what I have come up with so far! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/PHASEII.jpg height=440 width=600 This is what it looks like 8 months later! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/P8020174.jpg height=440 width=600 This is the "large" flower bed the latter part of last year http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/PA060462_1.jpg height=440 width=600 Here is the "large" flower bed with the sidewalk completed and "lighting" almost completed! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/P8020167.jpg height=440 width=600 Hopefully the good Lord will allow me to live long enough to "finish" at least the front yard!!?!?!?!?!

CFL's - more dangerous than 1st thought!

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=72133 Poisonous vapor so bad, researchers recommend families no longer use CFLs The results were stunning: Breaking a single compact fluorescent bulb on the floor can spike mercury vapor levels in a room – particularly at a child's height – to over 300 times the EPA's standard accepted safety level.

RE: Class A in VERY hot weather - window treatment?

We use Reflectix on our bedroom windows. It not only helps "insulate", but it also keeps the bedroom dark so the "better half" can sleep in without the morning light bothering her! This has been on the bedroom windows for over 3 years now with no problems with the windows as of yet! http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=13357-56291-13357&lpage=none

RE: Now here's one for you...

I hang the ignition keys on the little antenna handle, no way to crank up and leave with the antenna "UP"! (unless I am just downright stupid about it!)

RE: Well, everybody's got to make a little profit!

When will people START complaining about how much PROFIT the U.S. Government is making off of "Big Oil"????? With the federal, state, & local TAXES plus all the "fees & fines" the U.S. Government makes about DOUBLE (or more) what the "Big Oil" companies make in profit. So start going after the REAL culprits in this debacle! DRILL HERE - DRILL NOW - PAY LESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIMPLE!

RE: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Forclosure

It pretty much goes back to what has been said/thought/experienced for years and years. If you just GIVE someone something they don't appreciate it nearly as much as if they actually had to invest something into it themselves! I can honestly say that I can tell you, for the most part, which children had their cars GIVEN to them and which ones had to buy their own! (or at least some part of it) I really wish the show would spend the next "season" doing an Extreme Home Makeover Revisited and show us some of these houses after just one year!

RE: LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES???????

Thanks much!!!!! Patti's is a definate, maybe more than once!?!?!?! LOLOL (my wife LOVES thick pork chops!!!!!) Will probably also try and make the flea market, hopefully! I heard somewhere else that there were some "shows" to go see. Any comments/suggestions about that? JSF - we reserved sites #76 & #78 for Wednesday and Thursday nights, but will have to move to one of the non-reservable sites sometime Friday as both these sites have been reserved by others for the weekend!

LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES???????

We will be headed out to the Land Between the Lakes area in a couple of weeks and would like to know what there is to go-n-do-n-see while there! We have reservations at the Canal Campground so that will be our "home port" for any ventures/adventures! Any & all suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

RE: Now I'm the one that's seen everything!!!!!!

Maybe this won't "top" that, but I did see a lady one time bottle feeding a baby while driving. Lets see, one hand holding the baby and the other hand holding the bottle, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm????? Wonder how fast her KNEES could react to something happening in front of her?!?!!?!?!?!?!?

RE: What a fun way to spend the 4th of July!

That sounds a lot like the guy that did the same thing with weather balloons a few years back. From the Darwin Awards account he drifted into LAX air space and was reported by several pilots on approach. He finally ended up in some power lines and blacked out Long Beach neighborhood! He was arrested by LAPD as soon as he touched earth! LOLOL http://www.darwinawards.com/stupid/stupid1998-11.html

RE: Global Warming

Back in the 70's we were all going to freeze to death in 10 years! NOW, we are all going to burn up in 10 years! The "science" on all this is clear as MUD! I suppose it is as others have already said, we just have to hang on for the ride, especially since there is NOTHING we can do about it anyway!!!!!!!!!!
